Do they always have the registration broken out as Saturday only and Sunday only...and $299 for each day? Haven't seen Chin do it that way at other tracks.

Not sure, this is my first event with them. I signed up for both days.

Chin has great events. We have a lot of crossover with our instructor group.

Suncoast PCA will be $275 per day, or $400 for the weekend Feb 23&24. Registration opens December 23 on Clubregistration.net.

Also PBOC has an event in January as well. It's called Winterfest and I have heard great things. Sebring is fantastic this time of year.

Got registered on clubregistration so I am ready to register for the event when it opens. Thanks!

Anyone have a rec on place to stay near Sebring?

Yep Sebring has always been 2 seperate days. I usually run Sunday as by the afternoon most people are heading out and traffic is much less.

LaQuinta in Sebring http://www.laquintasebring.com/
is a good value and a new(ish) building and fairly close to the track. DO NOT agree to sleep on their pull out couch in the mini suites if you are sharing a room, get a regular room with two beds.. Probably the worst bed I've ever slept on!

If any of you want to store cars at Sebring, I've worked a deal with the airport to rent a "T" hanger beween PBOC Winerfest and the PCA event. I'm going over tomorrow to look at them. They have many empty hangers due to the economy. They also have a spot for us to park a tractor trailer between events. I'll post info if any of you are interested.

Storing the car overnight at the hanger or in between events?

Storage for me is between events. No issues leaving the car at the track. Nice facility, security at gate all night. This is a great track, you will really like it

Regarding Sebring hotels....

La Quinta (my choice) 10 minute drive to track, beautiful rooms, nice diner across the highway
http://www.laquintasebring.com/

Inn on the Lakes - 20 minute drive, longtime favorite on a lake, GREAT restaurant and bar
http://www.innonthelakes.com/sebring-hotels.html

Chateau Elan (at the track on Turn 7) convenient but overpriced and TERRIBLE restaurant (**NOTE: The hotel recently changed hands as a part of the ALMS-Grand AM merger.)

Residence Inn - Marriott - 20 minute drive, pricey
http://www.marriott.com/hotels/trave...e-inn-sebring/

Holiday Inn Express - 20 minute drive
http://www.hiexpress.com/hotels/us/e...lr/hoteldetail

Sebring Inn - 15 minute drive - Basic Mom & Pop $50 a night
http://sebringinn.kk5.org/

Sunset Beach Motel - 15 minute drive - OLDtime Mom & Pop on the lake, nice restaurant and grocery store next door
http://mysunsetbeachmotel.com/

Kenilworth Lodge - 10 minute drive - A Sebring original - 90 years old

I agree with the restaurant rating of the Chateau Elan (Le Chat.) But if you have AAA, it's $87.50 per night. And sooooo convenient...
