Hello Derek,
I will be there since I'm one of the series sponsors for the PRC. (PRC is the one who puts this together, POC is piggybacking this year). This year I won't have a table set up like last year and will just be wandering around the paddock, kind of using JWE's trailer as ground zero. I'll be sure to find you and say hello.
Regards,
Matt

Derek,
We were planning on going but had to cancel because of an incident at Laguna Seca a couple of weeks aga. But I had to comment on the picture...It has been a few years since that campaign but I have pictures of those cars and then the GT car that Long and Flanagan were running with the DP car at the time on the walls here at the shop, and many crew shirts still in the closet. 2004 and 2005?

I'll be there. I expect I'll see Matt as I'll be supported by JWE and in the garages with the normal crew. I know Eric will be there too. I'm happy to see the weather report says mid-70's and sunny, that should make for a perfect weekend.
Masuo just sent an email that shows ~70 cars registered for the 2 PRC groups with a near even split between GT cars with the 944's thrown in to keep it interesting and the Spec-911 guys and Spec-boxsters in the 2nd run group.

I'll be wearing a GT logo hat and shirt. Might also have a little rugrat strapped to my chest. Going to be there Friday afternoon and all day Saturday.

Derek,
Unfortunately...yes. No driver error, failed mechanical part. A real bummer, we were looking forward to Sears Point. We will make some changes and back at it again soon.

Laura,
I was in the upper deck of our trailer when it happened and saw the incident happen.due to the strange place they had us parked. Are you the lady who was getting a hard time from the track worker?? I heard the driver say what failed, sounds like it was not the first time either, thats too bad.
I am glad he was ok, was a fairly hard hit!!
Mike , nice run @ Petit, Congrats!!

Derek, that was Regan getting the business from the track worker. I was quite dissapointed that he had more interest at getting her away (we were behind a concrete barrier and fence) than attending to the driver in the car.

Dave,
Yeah, he was giving her a pretty hard time, I didnt understand since there were plenty of people in that area but he was only asking her to leave.
I am still trying to get some info on the car you called about, no luck yet.

Yea, that was Regan. I was the calm one.
Regan didn't take kindly to the gentleman treating her like a little miss who has no clue to where she was and the "danger" of standing in the supposedly "hot pits". But the truth is she doesn't look like a race car driver who has more than a clue (: !
Good luck to everyone going to Sears Point! Have a great time, be safe .
