First race with SCCA - BMW & Porsche content
comments/suggestions welcome
Car is a '95 E36, built 2.5 M50, stock brake calipers, Hawk HT-10 pads, Nitron Suspension, 2800# at the scales after the race
https://vimeo.com/45550212
the black 944 Turbo is a rennlister, but I don't remember his username
this was my first time at Lime Rock, 2nd time in this car
the race was only my second dry session on the track! It's a little shorter than usual because some spec miatas got into each other on lap 1 and the race was black flagged, so the video starts on the re-start.

1:01.587 was my best lap, also fastest of the race group by a tenth - this was a Regional race, not a National, and I had old R6's on the passenger side (first race, didn't want to go all out on $$$) - I also do not own the car, I help the owner out with the car, in return he helped me get my license and I get to drive.
Best Race lap at the National race a few weeks later in STU was a 59.8XX, that was done on BFG R1's - I've never used them so I don't know how sticky they are in comparison. Most of the fast National drivers in STU are on A6's if they are using Hoosiers, I have 1 more race this year at NJMP Thunderbolt where I will put A's on.

Cool vid, because you win it, but;
the black 944 leader didn't handle traffic up very well, should have checked out entirely, had a huge lead.
Your car seems much more powerful, and a little heavier than the others'. The power covers a few of your mistakes.
Well done though, thanks for posting.
