FWIW Heard rumors at LRP (Hudson Champlain hosted advanced DE). yesterday that it may be open after August.

P.S. Hudson Champlain put on a great event. Fours hours of track time for combined white, black and red run groups. Perfect weather, fast, courteous gang...

They just launched their new microsite with the road course info. I guess the full website will be up in a month or so but it definitely looks like it is happening!

I've tried to go down no less than three times now to go and watch some oval action and get a feel for how things were progressing and it's been rained out each and every time.

I stopped down there this week and they have a lot done! you can see the turns and everything taking shape!

They have a new website, and are out with membership plans and cost. Looks like its progressing nicely. www.thompsonspeedway.com

Membership is $20k-$35k, limited to 200 members. I'll be curious to see how they sell. I'd guess they won't target the same profile as Monticello which seems to be killing it (assumption on my part based on their expansion plans)

I just found a couple of videos from a Thompson road course track drive taken November 2013. Motorcycle guy drives it in both directions.

I know CVR was looking into some 2014 dates at Thompson. Anyone have their track schedule for 2014?
