Default Australian V8 is way more fun to watch

These guys really rumble. Watch a few videos on You Tube and tell me this isn't one of the best racing series going!

I like the way his crew chief finally just ignored him and told the crew via radio,"If he comes in, 4 tires and fuel, if he doesn't, just head to the trailer and start changing the motor".

You couldn't pay me enough to work with KB, life is too short.

Aussie V8 is awesome, I like that they have started trying to control the expenses there as well so it can continue. Wish we had it over here.

Got it but still.

R&D and wind tunnel per team is for one car only (as it is in F1) so I think it's safe to assume that the $25 mil or so (per top car in NASCAR) versus $125 mil or so (per top car in F1) will translate into at least four times or more money spent on R&D in F1.

Obviously talking "ball park" estimates here but still.

The driving talent in Aussie V8 is really high quality.
Exceptional, really fast, close racing with very little cherishes & yellow flags. Compare that to for example Grand-Am and the difference is huge. Not trying to put Grand-Am down (I like it also) but it just is.

Actually, the NASCAR guys have multiple cars for reasons (road race,COT,short ovals,SuperSpeedways) and I am guessing spend time with each "style" of chassis/body in the tunnel and in other R&D. The F1 guys spend serious money too, no doubt about it. But lets be serious, you expect it to be a fortune in F1 where they are suppose to be the cutting edge of technology, NASCAR is just a bunch of good ole buys racing push rod motor'd stock cars that up till recently were all fueled via carb.
I'd be curious to add up all the money spent by all the teams in F1 vs all the teams in NASCAR, and then add the truck series, Nationwide, and lower series.

And I agree 100%, the Aussie talent pool is very strong, it's much better racing and driving talent than GA in my opinion.

I just hope it's more than a 1 year wonder.
Honestly I'm not sure if there is enough spectators and market share to support in this country.

It's not just the 15 inches, it's the girth.
Seriously, have you ever seen the brake calipers on a RR stock car ? Huge !
And pads that look like 24 hr endurance pads, they are super thick, same with rotors with huge vanes for cooling.
