That other race this Memorial Weekend
The world's largest single day sporting event is also this weekend, as always.
Is there no interest among R-Listers for the Indy 500?
All the pomp, pageantry and glamor....

I'll be on the way to Mid-Ohio for a track day so I'll listen on the radio for awhile...just as well as I'd love to see Jean Alesi at least be respectable, but he has too many things going against him like being a rookie driving the slowest car in recent memory....

I'll be there, as we have been for the last 5 years. I have a great time regardless, love going to the museum, the history, and everything else that goes along with it. It's a great time

I forgot about it until this morning. Will probably tune in as I haven't even seen the new cars run yet. How come Alesi was so slow in qualifying? Pretty big speed differential.

agree.
we're probably going to see a first time winner (only 3 previous winners in the field, and two of them are Ganassi guys that seem a bit lost for some reason).
I'd love to see Hinchcliffe, RHR, Marco or Graham get a win, it would be great for the sport.
supposed to be blazin' hot this weekend in Indy, maybe the hottest 500 ever. should make for lots of slipping and sliding.
