18" Wheels. 4 dismount, 4 mount & 4 Balance. $178 inc.. tax and I took the old tires home with me. I tried to explain to the owner that this was almost twice as much as trackside tire support charges and I wouldn't be bringing anymore tire service to him.

so you guys balance your race tires? i was told years back to balance the rims, then just swap tires on and off since a chunk of rubber just throws them off anyway on the track.

$100 would have been OK. The not so funny part is I've known this shop for many years, I even used to have their name on my old 944 Turbo race car. I've also referred many customers to them over the years. Never again!

C.J.'s Tire does mine for free when I buy new ones. It's about $80 if I'm just moving tires around.
