Please?
You're kidding right?

Memo to Luca....
You lost in 2010 (the Adrian Newey lead Shock and Awe, remember?)
You lost in 2011 (the return of the Newey/Vettel/RBR Shock and Awe, remember)?

So, you have accepted defeat TWO years in a row, to the same team, to the same driver.

Since your PR office is obviously as talented as your wind tunnel operators, please allow me to FIFY....

TWO YEARS can accept defeat but, please, not a THIRD consecutive one"..

In closing, I would like to thank Santa Claus for my present 2 years in a row ... watching you and DV in defeat.

The goal is to win the Constructor's Championship, followed by winning the Driver's Championship. Just ask Dietrich.

Way to aim high Luca ... "be competitive" ...

di Montezemolo puts faith in Fernando

Luca di Montezemolo has rated current Ferrari driver Fernando Alonso as the best in F1, and tipped the Spaniard to lead the Scuderia's recovery from this year's disappointing season.

Well, who the hell else is gonna lead them? Massa? Not! They could look for another rookie like LH, but FA would come unglued and have to steal another dossier to try to find a way to get his car ahead of his teammate.

The problem at Ferrari my lay in their math skills. 2009 + 2010 + 2011 = 3 years of defeat. I guess he was just referring to the 2 years of losing with the best driver in F1.

While his contempt for Massa is barely disguised, and with potential replacements for the Brazilian - thought to include currently injured Renault star Robert Kubica and Mercedes' Nico Rosberg among them - currently being lined up, di Montezemolo has no doubts about the man in the team's lead car.

Like they are really going to pair a competetive driver with DV.

In 2011 they didn't just get beat, they got humiliated.
Thinking about DV and the 2010 season conjures up images like this:

When Luca was referring to not accepting 2 consecutive years not winning either championship, I thought he had reverted back to the Schumacher era. Yes, his math is a little fuzzy, but you must forgive him... a little Asti during the holidays will do that...

Not an F1 fan, but I do watch on occasion. This is really interesting. My only guess is that 968TurboS has his panties in a twist because both of his cars are water-cooled and have their engines in the wrong end.

Come on. You stopped on Christmas Eve. Christmas is over. 10 pages?

I would be happy to run mine against yours and we will see who has his ends spin on him.
Actually, I have nothing to prove to an old 911 owner.

I am guessing that the 2012 season will look a lot more like the 2010 season than the 2011 season where Vettel ran away from everyone. However, before the Alonso/Ferrari fans begin patting themselves on the back congratulating themselves for the championship they feel they are entitled to, do not forget what happened in 2010. In 2010 Vettel was leading in several races when his car failed him. 2010 would not have been as close as it was if Red Bull's reliability was as good as it was in 2011.

August 24-26, NJMP, your back yard. Bring it.

P.S., I'm not that old.

Deja Vu all over again with the VR/Kibort duel.

Newey RBR will not have the advantage of the blown exhaust in 2012. Given that they were ALWAYS slowest in the speed traps, logic says they will have a hard time out of the gate.... but I've never discounted Newey... he'll come up with something.

Ferrari needs their tires to warm up quickly in qualifying as they had good race pace, but often, it was too little too late.

My guess is that McLaren will be shot out of a cannon to start the year.

Your thoughts and your car are .
BTW, in case you have been living under a rock, all Porsches since 1999 are watercooled, even the ones with the engine on the wrong end (like yours).
Take care.
