Just watched both videos and wow, great reaction from Dr. Jim and you. Definitely a code brown for me too!

I only got a code brown as my good friend and mentor Jack Refenning was driving my car when that happened. His reaction was perfect but I wouldn't expect anything else from him.

I jumped in afterwards to drive an "open cockpit" 911; the car was like a parachute. I was really fast on the infield and kind of slow on the banking. Can't complain, finished 3rd on Vintage after that extra pit stops (we were asked to remove the replacement windshield by the officials).

Scary.
Dave,

Our plan was that Ronnie started on #24 and Jack on my car and we were then to switch drivers so Brady and I could race. Old(er) guys vs young(er) guys. Both cars are very similar.

2:06 is smoking fast! *in a 2 ltr...

but, why did they want you to remove the replacement windscreen? was it a normal install? (or just some tape)

did they want you to add some retention tabs?

Mr. Bill, it was installed without the rubber with a lot of gaffers tape + the tabs. HSR felt it was not safe. We had to then remove the rear window also.

I'll post some of the 2:06 laps (there were a lot of those with the fastest being 2:06:4!). I'm out of town so I'll post later in the week. Hell of a ride on street tires....

Juan - Great seeing you at the finale and on the podium; the 2 hr enduro certainly had a few incidents, tip toeing through the debris just past the tri-oval was a challenge.

Angus,

Great seeing you too. You are going at a pretty good clip!!! The debris left by the Cayman's blowing tires was a bit much. I had a first row view of the cleanup as I was the first on the pits after they black flagged it.

We must try to help get Sebring back on the schedule....

Happy holidays!

As requested. I just posted one lap from Daytona over at You Tube. Not the best or fastest lap but still a 2:06.7. Sorry for the low volume and the diagonal lines, I'm sending my Chasecam in for service.
