Default Formula Nippon --

Our last two points races were held at Motegi this weekend. Carnage ensued in race two, under a safety car period no less.

Lap record broken on Sat qualifying. Several seconds quicker than Indy Car from a few months ago (in the hotter track temp season as well)

One of the best looking formula car in the world. And the racing seems quite "high level".

A flagger on the tarmac? Not too sure about that though. I don't remember seeing a flagger standing on the track to give a red flag since many many years ago, or any color flag for that matter.

Chris, the RF09 looks awesome! I'm used to the older Mugen powered Lolas and Reynards!

What do the flashing or solid LEDs facing forward on the main hoop signify? Also in two colors?

These lights are to communicate to the fans and other drivers that the push-to-pass is activated. There are five bullets the driver can use during the race, one light goes out each time the PTP is used.

They are bright, too! I've been blinded while these are tested in the garages.
