On a long shot - wondering if anyone here would know Bob Strange or how to get in touch w/ him. Former BFG Engineer and driver. Did a lot of SCCA Escort and Showroon Stock racing in the 80's, mostly in 944's.

I have a car that was owned by BFG-Uniroyal for a couple years in the late 80's, and was used by Strange to perform development testing on the BFG-R1. Looking to get in touch w/ Bob for confirmation and see if he has any recollection or info about the car or testing program.

One of the 87 944 Turbo Cup/Escort cars, red. Purchased by Uniroyal Goodrich of Arkron in Aug 87 from Holbert. Story is that is broke a balljoint or spindle at Nelson Ledges, and then ended up in Steinel's shop and was sold to Dan Jones in Dec '90.
