I just noticed - you can't change springs on this thing... or damper settings... duh... and doh!

I thought for sure it was a spring and damper issue.

Yep - the 2017+ Cups came with non adjustable dampers and fixed spec springs.

I created a hosted session for 4-6p Central tonight @ Daytona. Just for fun, open practice. It's under the league, it's not a generic hosted.

I'm going to host an open practice tomorrow night, Tuesday 8:30PM EST @ MId-Ohio in anticipation of our first race on WEDNESDAY. if anyone may want to join. I'll post password and details later. I assume we'll be running the full course?

For setups - John and I have been going back and forth plugging together a Daytona setup and I don't think either of us have arrived at a magic solution yet. However, I did pull down the setup from VRS (https://virtualracingschool.com/) and I was most consistent with that setup.

If you don't have a VRS account I'd really recommend it. Good basic data/telemetry, good setups, etc. I'll likely just run the Mid-O setup from them this week.

Another advantage to the VRS - after staring at it a bit yesterday while running Daytona, I learned the "fast" way around is a bit different than I was running it. Their reference lap has the driver literally braking ALL the way to the apex - easily 50% of the turn, and braking gentler but earlier. I put an hour in last night after learning that and I'll be damned if I didn't pick up a second off my lap doing it. Still feels awkward but it worked.

Thanks for coming out!

Hoping/aiming for more folks as the season wears on. Few guys from the FB group bailed at the last minute (got notes from them) so we should have an even better grid in the next week (or maybe two, given holidays next week).

So Daytona infield circuit tonight? I'll have to try and get some seat time in. I do confess (and don't ban me from the league) I haven't driven the 911 much since the Ferrari GT3 was released. mmm that Ferrari.

Got the email notification for tonight -- I think that's a good idea. I don't know that track at all so I'll be sitting this out this week but if there are tracks I know on the schedule I'll try to get in there.
