Ok, now I am in the league Rennlist Racers, but there is no sessions scheduled. What gives? Wrong League? Guess I’ll work tonight instead, which isn’t very fun.

Doesn't look like a race was set up for tonight.

Looked like a different setup tonight with only 10 min practice. I was the only one driving. Maybe we could pick a different day of the week in order to recruit more drivers? Maybe a weekend?

MSW was right. It took what seemed like a millennium to put the 80/20 rig together. I did the monitor stand last and it shows . Will tune later.

My hands are gigantic, which slows down any build. Having done this in two days, after rolling around my hardwoods for like 10 hours, I feel like I went to orange theory with my wife three times in a row LULz

i can immediate see how the load cell brake will take some time to learn. I’ll get there. Got to brake those distance brake habits! Here she is as of right now:

Looks great! 80/20 always takes a bit of work to put together, but it's well worth the effort.

The upside of all this is that if your wife ever tells you "you don't know what it's like to go through childbirth!", instead of giving her a blank stare (while you casually try to change the subject), now you can just point at your rig . Deep down, she'll know you are at least peers in this regard.

Yeah part of the reason I bought a SimLab setup was because I figured it'd be easier.

It might've been easier than doing my own but I was still surprised at how long it took me to put such a simple thing together.

It was a huge effort. Would have gone much faster if I had a friend helping. Like, I could assemble a 944/911 engine and install in probably the same amount of time.

Definitely need some form of shoe. Might stop by the store on the way home from work.

Back is killing me. Lol.

Slowly learning the new brake pedal. I have it with the softest rubbers and actually took a bunch of preload out and the plastic disc between the medium and xl rubbers. I am retooling using the skippy car at sebring.

30 minutes just now, I have a 1:15.362 on the club layout, which is 1 second faster than before and about 3 seconds slower than insane alien times.

need some racing shoes. Doing this in thick wool socks and my left foot is taking a beating.

Looks like 10 min practice, 2 lap qualifying and 30 min race. Anyone else going to drive?
