I'm hoping that Gigabyte will honor their warranty this time. I was able to make my video card fail in a different system with a Furmark stress test. The last round, I paid for shipping and the taxes coming back from Gigabyte just to get my same card back. If they can't make it right for me, I'll let everyone know about my experience with their warranty system and start shopping for a different card.

I'd put a mark on the card somewhere just so you can be sure. Paint dot or something.

I dismantled my rig to take it to a LeMans party over the weekend. I'm gonna try to get it back together tonight. If I don't, I'll let you guys know tomorrow that I won't make it.

Fine with really whatever. Other ones I was thinking of too, is Lime Rock, Laguna, Le Mans, Spa, Road America. Flexible again, but was just trying to think of some schedule we could put together. Maybe it would get some more people to join if they knew the tracks in advance? I know it's the summer.....

If we do Montreal tonight you got to help me with the hair pins..... You got those suckers down and I struggle there. Would appreciate some help in those.

Well a couple of us made it.

Note I'll generally try my best to make it every Wednesday.

But I do not normally get home from work until 7:30-7:45. I need to spend a few minutes with the wife otherwise she gets pissed that I come home and duck straight into the basement. That means that normally I can't expect to actually get logged in until 8:00 or just after.

Sorry Kevin I didn't see your note here yesterday (was likely still on 90 when you posted this) or I would have confirmed I was going to make it.

I've hit radio silence with gigabyte. Apparently this is not uncommon for them to RMA a card to just send it right back to the customer. I would prefer not to have to buy a new card right now with the prices being driven up thanks to cryptocurrency mining, but I'll give them a bit more time.

Yikes, I wouldn't be able to have that much patience. A new card would have been ordered already and said the hell with them.

I hope I'm not starting issues now. When the sim is about to launch it just exists out when it says launching sim..... Just closes and goes back to Google Chrome. Makes no sense whatsoever. I guess I will have to research a little bit. If I keep trying to join the session it eventually launches.

They did finally get back to me and are going to warranty my card. The guy even said they'd pay for shipping this time. Hopefully Gigabyte turns it around quick and I can get back to iracing soon!
