Pat Long used to come race with us more regularly. He was good, and lots of fun to race against.

Didn't Patrick Lindsey and one of the Taylors join in at one point as well?

Dion Von Moltke (current Flying Lizard driver) is an iRacing regular as well. He'll actually be in the "iRacing Race of Champions" tonight.

Final exams and real racing have kept me busy lately, hope to hop back in for next time at Road Atlanta.

I remember that; they jumped in for a practice we held at Sebring right before the 12hr race

Good racing guys! Stephane, you found some serious speed. I couldn't shake you for the longest time. The DRS zone is pretty strong at Indy. Did your tires start falling off? I sure noticed my times started to slip about 75% into the race. We've got a 2 week break to repair any relationship damage done by iracing. Then we're back in January at a great track: Road Atlanta. Indy was filler because there aren't that many other real road courses in this geographic region.

Yes everyone was fast tonight, I just lucked out at the first corner and gained all my spots, Sean crawled back held him off for a few laps but tires started to go off, he got by the second to last lap but made a mistake (thank you) and I got 3rd back.

Sounds like a good run tonight! Sorry I couldn't make it. Week from hell. Only consolation is I'm eating late dinner at a beachside cafe in Malibu listening to the ocean.

It was great fun following Justin around for a while. Justin, you are right, my tires lost a lot of grip by mid race. I was also trying to mimic some of your lines but I still can't understand how you could get so much grip. I never had as much turn in speed as you in turn 11. I could hear you accelerate so much earlier than I could.

Anyway great race on your part as I saw you dance with your car a few times and you managed to keep it under control.

Congrats on your first win in a while!

Yeah, I seemed to be faster coming out of the corners and you were better going in. You had me in T1 entry for sure. I was using my sebring setup with a few tweaks to make it push less. There were a couple bobbles, but at Indy there's so much road, that recovering just means losing a couple 10ths instead of going into a wall.

It was good fun last night. I had realed you in, but decided to be patient...something I'm not real good at, and wait for the right opportunity to pass. Only to have to check up in T2 and I lost a ton of ground. I used up the tires I had on the car to catch back up and by the last lap I was on ice. Oh well I was so close to a good finish. I think the car is finally coming around to me again.

Repairing relationship damage was what I was doing by missing the race last night... Trail of lights with the GF. Been telling her "I can't, I have a race tonight" a lot lately.

I should have had that third if I wouldn't have gotten careless and spun it in 10. I caught back up and had a good run on you at the end but I couldn't quite get there.

Been trying to practice Indy, but for some reason I just cant seem to get a grip... litterally. So i decided to sit this one out to prevent myself from myself and others.

Scott yes you were right behind Sean. I get conservative in the race just to keep from screwing up.
