But I agree with you Kevin about the 60 minute enduro... definitely WITH a pit stop.

I believe there will be a track sponsored test day the Friday before so it could be considered a 3 day. Bob and Nadine, along with all the Carolina's region people put on a great event. Looking forward to running with them again this year.

Jack, you are absolutely correct. With so few racers running the enduro last year, it is cost prohibitive to run that 3rd day.
Unfortunately, this year we have a lot going against us: Daytona is back on the schedule, this race is not on the 944 cup schedule, and a couple other factors made us realize that participation will most likely be down this year. Last year, we barely broke even. The region can't afford to lose money, so option A was try to reduce costs by making it a two day, option B was cancel it all together. The board voted on A, thankfully. Now we need to make sure we don't lose money...
Kevin....yep, I'll be up into GT3, but you'll probably still be faster than me and I agree, I would prefer a 3 day, but as you can see, the cost model just can't support it right now. And Cory's right, come for the T&T and make it a 3 day anyway...

I thought I was going to make the trip down this year... Until, I landed on my right shoulder Sunday after while playing with my son. The Ortho called it a stage 3 injury (from the x-ray's) and wanted to do surgery until he actually looked at my shoulder and could not believe that the AC had gone back into place. New he has me on Pain med's and it starting physical therapy... I won't know until the 24th if he will let me drive. He is confident that I can make the December race... just not sure about this one.

Grade 3 a/c separations do not 'go back into place', so it must by definition be a grade 1-2 injury that simply looked worse than it was on a single view. With 2 weeks yet to go, you may be ok .

That is what he stated. The xray was 3 days old (had meetings that I had to make)... So, he looked at the film expecting to see it much worse then it was. Still it is up a little.

The Jacksonville contingent will be there again this year. Me, Bob Linville, and perhaps Tommy Reinheimer in his newly rebuilt 944. Always a fun event with plenty of competition if Rock, Dick and John are up for it. Should have my motor back in the car by then. Unfortunately, CMP falls on the Georgia/Florida weekend here in Jacksonville so racer914 (aka Dave Rodenroth) will not be available.

Not looking good for me... My A/C pulled again... now it is up to almost he same spot as it was when I hurt it last Sunday... Seeing the Ortho Tomorrow... Crude!
