Default Protomotive stage 1 on 993 for DE experience?

Saw a car with a Protomotive stage 1 on a 993 NA engine.

Obviously certainly an amazing thought, and for the street I'm betting a bit of a no brainer if you have the $ or it is already done. But what about for DE? Is it reliable? Part of the allure of a 993 on the track is the ease and bullet proof nature of it.

Thoughts?

I'm not familiar with the protomotive stage 1. Is it a turbo kit for the NA 993? If so I definitely would not go that route for a track car. Why build a turbo when the factory already made one? (993 twin turbo) In the end a factory turbo would probably be cheaper and more reliable and with some upgrades would perform better as well. I would also guess it would hold its value much better.

The first thing I would do to a 993 is suspension, wheels and tires. Leave power mod's for last. An aftermarket turbo kit has a lot of potential for reliability problems.

Better yet, just buy a GT3 for DE and be done with it.
