Got it on DVR. I am at Barber for the weekend so I will watch it when I get home. I saw the clusterjumble that was the online feed when it was live. What a mess that was. I hope the tape delay footage was better.

Great show I thought. I think the touring cars out there is a total joke. just moving chicanes, get them out of there! they are not even worthy of TV time. probably should just be GT and GTS ,where the GTS class is not so much the toruing class any more, but just as fast as that class used to be, but more diverse in manufacturers and types of cars. (i.e. mustangs, acuras, kind like a Grand Am GS theme)
the crashes were pretty ugly . Pobst, on his own just killed the Volvo, clipping the runnout wall of a turn, the crash in the first race where the one touring car was wrecked in to a wall and stalled , and then a pile up started, all while the first drive was trying to get out of his car! he could have been killed in that stunt. if you watch the slow mo of the cars hitting him while he was hanging out of the car trying to get out, it looked like he could have been torn in half by the fence if he was half way through. scary!
Those caddies looked pretty badass too! I thought Sofro would have held off Long for the victory. That car was Morgan's, and i remember seeing it in our race at laguna with the GTGP. I heard it was pretty pumped up. I wonder if it was better prepared than Sofro's '11 GT3? great race and I think the broadcast effort was a good one. Its on my season pass again!

Mark,
Give WC a little room here......they are finding their way this year with a new Title sponsor and tire and the entries are increasing every event!
Miller should have 60 cars.
Touring cars.....well I agree in the fact that some of the drivers are not quite qualified to run in this type of race and the GT cars are now so much faster due to the new tire....it makes it even tougher on them.
I spoke to Brett about his exit attempt in the 1st race and he thought he smell gas fumes and saw smoke....either way a tough call.
Caddies are awesome, and mark my word, they will win races this year!
Vettes and Vipers have the highest top speed by far!
Porsches should win most street courses but we will be dead ducks at Miller and Mosport.
Thought I would hold off Long too but a slower Touring car not looking in his mirrors prevented that from happening.
I run a 2010 Cup, not a 2011. Long will be in a new 2011 for LB.....I have my tried and true GMG prepped 2010 Car.....LB will be a shoot out for sure!
Pat and I will both have a fair amount of rewards weight, the rest of the field....just about zero! We could be in trouble with that....

Some of those guys look like they would hold up people in a DE!!!!
Rewards weight + Small Engine + Big Track = hard times vs big engine american muscle. I saw Skeen drive right around other GT cars on the straight. The Volvo looks hard pressed on straight line speed.
