As I qualify that the Quail is for a great cause, there will be an unbelievable collection of Porsches @ LS. Unfortunately, I need to head back home Sunday morning for a flight to DFW.

The 17 mile drive area looks great. My wife and I are driving down from Portland in the Boxster.

Can't wait to get down there... first time to Laguna and it is for Rennsport! Unfortunately not in my race car but I will definitely be rooting for Mike in the Rothmans 44.

17 mile drive is nice, but IMO you folks need to really go down Hwy 1 to Big Sur. That drive is tops.

Question for those with better recall... were all of the past RR events taped and broadcast on TV. I think at least two were... does anyone remember?

Maybe a highly edited 1/2 hour special on Speed...I don't recall anything substantial. Maybe HD will do a special this time.

My $0.02 - Premier is great for the longer ALMS races - At the Historics and RR, I'm going with just the 3 day pass as I know I'll spend 1/2 the time walking the pits or the track. I haven't done the flagroom yet.

Thanks Jim. That's what I figured. Don't imagine many people would just hang out in the boxes while there's so much to do/see around the track.

I bought tickets for Saturday, but I am not sure how you know if you can participate in the Parade Lap. I'd hate to miss out on that bit. Anyone know the info on the Parade lap. I'd feel very disappointed if this car had to just stay parked all day.

A friend and I will be attending the Quail at opening for a few hours to ensure we see the Weissach and Stuttgart class races!
I hope to meet and have a beer or three with some RL'ers!

+1 on the parade lap question - ?? We were at Road Atlanta for ALMS and the Porsche parade lap was huge (that track is insane!)
