Default DE event in March Barber?

My mother in law is visiting the month or March.

I have no DE's booked in March yet.
Options for March are 3 days with PBOC at Roebling road March 25-27th and 3 days with NASA at Road ATL March 12-14th.

I've been to both a few times and really would prefer to go to Barber in March.
I have not been there with P car and it is a longer drive from home.

Chin, NASA, PBOC, PCA are a no go for Barber. Anyone know of another group that is going to barber for at least a 2 day event in March?

You have two options for Barber in March at this time.

March 5/6 with the Alabama PCA or
March 26/27 with ReZoom Motorsports (http://www.rezoommotorsports.com/)

That is all I know of at the moment but they are still working on their schedule.

March 5/6 PCA DE
March 26/27 ReZoom DE
May 28/29 Heart of Dixie BMW De
June 18/19 PCA DE
Sept 2-4 SCCA Race
Sept 24/25 Chin Motorsports DE
Oct 12-16 BMW Octoberfest DE and race
Nov 5/6 ReZoom DE
Nov 19/20 PBOC DE and Race
Dec 18/19 PCA DE

Jim Pantas (NASA-SE Director) keeps hinting that there will be news of a NASA event at Barber in 2011.

I've also heard rumors that World Challenge will be at Barber in June but that is not showing up on the WC website (was offered a seat for 5K, anyone want to sponsor me!!!!).

I will be at the Barber Alabama PCA event in March. Registration is @ ClubRegistration.net and opens Jan 10.

Rezoom looks interesting with just 3 runs groups and a limited # of cars per group. Price is good $450 for 2 days. Also the weather may be a little warmer later in March.

Have you run a NASA DE at Road Atlanta? It's VERY VERY congested.

If you don't mind going a little early, PBOC is having the 3 day event at Road Atlanta the last weekend in February. It's sure to be awesome.

Then you could do the end of the month DE at Barber. However I will say that Alabama PCA does run a fantastic event as well, so that early March event might not be a bad idea either.

Agreed, this should be a great event if the weather cooperates. I plan on this being my season opener.

Do you have room for a 3rd car in your trailer?? I have a friend who needs to get his GT-r up there and I am sure he would help with $$$ for Gas.

The new Hampton by Barber is nice (good trailer parking if you don't want to drop @ the track) and only $80.00 a night with AAA discount. Not sure if I will have the GT3 or E36M3. See you there.

Can't help you on your question, but it sure is filling up FAASSST. I don't think I have ever seen an event with that many registrations in so little time.

I now work in Alabama, and know of four BMW guys from work that signed up for the March 5-6 two day event. I'll be there to check it out, but will not be participating. It would be good to meet some of you guys!

Info below was cut from an email sent to the members of the AL PCA.

March 5-6 Driver's Education Event - Registration is now closed. Actually the event filled to capacity, and a waitlist of 50 more built up in the first 24 hours after registration opened. If you are registered, you'll be receiving further event information from the clubregistration.net email address. If you missed registration this time, be sure to jump on it next time - as you can see, these events fill up quickly!

Crap, I wanted to get into this one. Not sure if I could have made it anyways the weekend after PBOC (or if I'll even make that one), but I would have tried.

Think I might try the rezoom event.
