I need some OLD throw-away Rotors
I need to collect 1 (ONE) set of each of the following models rotors. Trying to put something together that will benefit most all of us here. I figured this would be the best place to ask since the most consumables are used here. Front and rear are ok.
Looking for the following:
- 996TT/C4S Big Red (4 piston)
- 996/997 C2
- 996/997 GT3
- 986/987 Boxster Cayman
- 996/997 Cup
I will pay shipping.

I will have some 997S...basically the same as the 996TT rotors buy the end of October for you.

Are you starting a recycling program?
Where have you been on the f1 threads, Dez. Ever since I picked Hamilton to win this year, you've stopped replying to me....
I have some 996 GT3 rear rotors that look like they have the rings of Saturn on each.

That's Cool,
Just curious what you are using them for?
We've been making table bases out of them w/concrete tops for small bedside or reading tables. Great bottom weight w/ 3" pipe and concrete round cast tops.
If interested I can post some photos, makes a really cool table.

At this point I believe I have made arrangements for all but the Cayman, Boxster Rotors and Cup Rotors (which I assume are the same as the GT3 ones so may not need them).
If you have some laying around feel free to let me know and I'll get in touch if something falls through.
Thanks.

Cool, that may be my next one as well, if I need them before then (which I may) I'll contact you and see if we can meet up somewhere for me to get them. But I definitely want them.
Thanks, I know Dave and he's local so I'll go with his. If I need a backup set I'll let you know if you still have them laying around.
I've got those coming now, same as above though, if I need a backup set and they are still available I'll get in touch with you.
I had no idea about you picking Hamilton.
I peek in on the F1 threads every now and then, but I'm getting too emotionally involved and when Lewis is having a hard time I generally lose interest in the threads.
Doh, I'm supposed to be leaving to go to Florida Friday morning. I live 10 minutes from the track though so I'll PM you and see if we can't work something out.
They will be used to help with some brake upgrades I have planned in the future.

since you are near Road Atlanta, head over there this weekend for Petit LeMans and you will have hundreds of rotors to choose from
We used to give away typically 8 per weekend when I was on the road in indycar.
