Default Oh help I'm so tired of motel 6

Near Buttonwillow raceway park does anyone have suggestions for a hotel something like a Homewood suites that is not all the way into Bakersfield? I am so tired of the fleebag motel 6 and the willow ranch restaurant.

Thanks!!!!

The Super 8 is a little bit better. I don't think you'll find anything like Homewood.

BTW - the Indian restaurant, don't remember the name, is OK if you like Indian food.

Default Buttonwillow lodging

You might look at the Motel 6 at Lost Hills north of Lerdo Hwy. on the I5 at the 46 intersection.

No personal experience but I can't recommend the lodging South of the track.

You can also camp at the track. Or make friends with someone who has a motor home at the track.

I stay in Bakersfield just to get a better room when I'm overnighting at the track. The early morning drive is not that bad to the track.

I stay in Bakersfield, no comparison in hotels and food. Well worth the extra driving.

+1. Several good hotel options. The new Holiday Inn is owned by POC member/racer Joseph Fan so if you stay there you are supporting a fellow racer.

Cheers,

Old thread. But the best western didn't seem too bad. One exit
south of motel 6. Never stayed at any of the other bw motels, so I don't have anything to compare against.
