Gary, it would be great if we could always do 1:1, but many Instructors do end up with 2 students. For those getting 2 we try to give them a White group student that has already been soloed or is ready to go solo. The Instructor is responsible for that student, but might only need to ride along for 1 or 2 sessions per day.
We realize having 2 students can be a real challenge, so we invite Instructors to drive in the Advanced run group as well as their own Instructor run group. This allows you to provide proper debriefing of your student after their session without losing all your own track time.
It's not perfect, but it works pretty well (and it's way better than spending the day at work .)

Just a quick note to say THANK YOU to all the drivers, instructors, and volunteers who attended our region's events this year! You guys and gals all rock, and I can't wait for this winter to pass so we can do this all over again. Our 2011 schedule will be posted on our website DE page www.niagarapca.org/pages/7 as soon as we receive confirmation from the track.
Pics from this week's Fall DE can be found on our Event Photos page here www.niagarapca.org/pages/26.
THANK YOU again; have a safe and enjoyable off-season!

Thanks to NRPCA for a great DE - my first visit to WGI and not my last. Great instructors. Great times. Except for the fog....
BTW, CWhaley is a hero - came to my rescue with some fuel so my son would not suffer the humiliation of running out of gas on his last run.
