stout wax / paint protection for track and street

Does anybody have any recommendations for a strong and durable wax or other paint protectant?

It seems like:
1. carnuba wax might be good for somebody who wants a super shiny looking car but that
2. a two part wax (like Zaino's) would be better if you were more concerned about durability in a harsh environment like the track (brake dust from track pads) or dirt roads.

The concourse look does not interest me. I'd rather spend most of my time driving. At the same time, I'd like to know that my paint is safe under all the nasty stuff.

I have single stage paint if it matters.

I like Zaino but since my front end started looking like the backstop at a skeet range I kinda gave up on it...

I've been happy with Autopia's Ultimate Paint Guard Plus...

This is the racing forum. We don't wax our cars.

seriously now...I use Starbrite Marine Polish with PTFE. It really helps with dirt, bugs and rubber marks removal.

Other than that I like Menzerna products

clear bra

My car is always faster after I wax it. :D

Unfortunately, wax only makes it easier to wash off rubber, brake dust, etc. It won't prevent chips or road rash.

don't forget to armorall the tires!

If you really want to protect it, there is some thick latex foamy stuff that has a chance of
actually protecting against grit and tiny stones, and it peels off without too much trouble.
Some folks cover the exposed surfaces with painters tape, and there's the thick clear
plastic film coverings. A hard bra is safest for the area it covers...

Wipe the whole car down with diesel fuel, everything will wipe right off after that..

Rejex wax would be perfect.

I really like the Klasse All-In-One sealant. Of course, it won't protect against chips, but melted tire goo just wipes right off.
