That is going to be Barbosa's new car for some Euro series. Barbosa said on FB that it would debut at the race in Portimao, Portugal in May.

That would be interesting. I wonder how much more power this motor can make vs the Cayenne DP motor.

The Cayenne DP engine is not a fully built racing engine as it is limited in design by the series regulations. You'd need to design a completly new engine for DTM.

And a completely new chassis. Which is why DTM is currently so very lame. Carbon tubs with "look alike" bodies and 4.0 liter V8's without any relation to an actual street motor.

WCGT, if that was a series anymore, would be cool.

Did I miss something, or are there no photos of the rear of the car?

I hate the looks of the street car. I suspect the race version will still be ugly. However having said that I say why not? The car is awesome to drive in street trim so that should translate somewhat to the race car.

Afterall good chassis and good engine mean something right?

Because, frankly, you cannot outrun ugly.
