GPS Module for AIM Data Loggers for sale
SOLD: contribution to Rennwish on its way
I am offering my GPS module for AIM data loggers (such as the MXL, EVO3 new generation and MyChron4 kart gauges) for sale.
This module allows you to:
*Measure lap times in real time (no more forgetting to put out a timing beacon, or leaving it behind at the end of the day). The lap time displays directly onto your AIM dash.
*Plot track maps
*Record cornering and acceleration/deceleration G forces for later analysis
This module is the predecessor to the current GPS05 module, and logs directly into the back of your logger. It is Model #M827A-S. Per Aim "the capabilities are the same ".
Works perfectly and is basically as new. Includes magnetic antenna and all cables.
The GPS05 sells for $399 plus shipping; I'll sell mine for $299 including shipping to U.S. addresses and donate 10% of the proceeds to Rennwish.
If interested, please PM me.
Thanks for listening; this GPS capability is a really nice improvement.

This is a REAL nice upgrade for the AIM systems. Everytime I go back to a system that doesn't have one I realize how great it is to have the GPS system. No trackside beacon, good track maps, easy split times, etc.

Agree, Joe - I really liked having the additional data and no need for beacons (which can be a pain to put out, worse to take in, and of course some tracks aren't timing friendly).
