You didn't watch the race i think... As much as I think he has to proven to be one of the best, Alonso simply lucked out this time around. Only in Monaco do you get so many Safety Car moments in F1.

Of course WE the Alonso backers are too sensitives, because everything you say is true and backed by solid arguments like:

Just for the record I'm not Alonso's Fan, I even hated him in the beginning precisely because of his arrogance but today I enjoy watching him racing, being aggressive behind the wheel and going for it, that's all.

What do I know...

Regards

You must be joking Fred ! You make it sound like only Alonso benefited from the safety car moments...,

Alonso was without a doubt the drive of the day , now if only he would stop making stupid mistakes that cost him track position so he can start controlling the top podium .

MJ:

The Alonso comments will continue getting stale as the year rolls on , the man has been the best in F1 since winning his second WDC and get's better every year. LH is still a whinny talented bitch , who might get over it ,, well maybe ..

The best gift this year for me is the return of Stooley OMG , i really don't know how to thank him . After this season i can rest assured they will never attempt to prop up this fraud by mentioning his name amongst the real greats , well not in the top 5 if they are serious, 7 WDC and all that success and he still thinks it's all about him..

Look at how the ones before Schumacher used to nurture the youth into the sport , Senna to barrichello, Fittipaldi - senna before him , Stewart et al, the man is disgusting on all fronts and if Nico is really keke's Kid , he should punt his **** off at least once , he need's to show he is no push over ...

Really? I would have thought the guy who won the race would have been seriously considered as having the "Drive of the Day". But what do I know? I guess Alonso even in defeat is allowed to claim supremacy over the F1 world. Who cares that Webber took the pole and proceeded to win the race. Obviously the only driver who should be celebrated today is the great Fernado Alonso for he is a God in the eyes of Ferrari koolaid drinkers.

PS: Did Alonso kick back some of his "drive of the day" honors to Hulkenberg?

Smart pit call + back markers moving off line to allow pass = drive of the day

My bad. I forgot that winning the pole and winning the race means jack **** when the Great Fernado Alonso blesses us with his presence on the race track. So yes world, you must all worship Fernado this evening before you retire to bed.

Yes and name one back marker that moved over ?

On second thought you guys are right , the drive of the day has to be Schumacher, he went from 7 th -6th then converted it into a 12th in less than a lap ...
