This time is for real…. I am selling my 2002/05 996 Cup car. $85,000

The car is impeccable. Faster than hell. Approx 45 hours on the engine (Autometrics complete rebuild to ’05 specs), 5 hours on the trany (Copans with ’05 gears) and clutch. 3 hours on rebuilt dampers (Sachs), cool suit, Race Technology DL-1 and DASH-2 for data acquisition, brand new front windshield with a 4 layer tear off, 3-4 % for compression leak, many spares (rotors, drive shafts, break pads, plastics…). Dyno sheet available.

The car has track records at Brainerd International, Road America, Miller Motorsports and it is .05 of a second away from the record at Road Atlanta (yes…I know still it doesn’t hold the record, but close…).

Planning to get a 997. Going to Heartland Park next and hopefully going to collect another track record.

Fernando, this is Mo Dadkhah (we played when I had my 996 GT3 # 501 and you had your red 997 GT3)....best of luck with the sale. Wish I was in the position to buy a cup, maybe next season, but hope to see you out at the track this season. Are you heading up to the memorial day RA event?

FWIW...Fernando is a standup guy and I saw this car at RA last year and he was flying in it.

what does 2002/05 mean? That's it is an 2002 production with 05 specs?

That is what I meant. The car is a '02 tub with all upgrades to '05. It handles and performs like a '05 car.

i.e. its the car spec you want to have to be the most competitive in GTC3 (05s are faster than 02s, as in GTC4 09s are faster than 06).
