Default 911 race car with 993 motor

For some reason my previous thread vanished into thin air...so here goes again:

Eligible for NASA GTS or ST2, PCA GT4.

The car is the current track record holder for ST2 at PIR (phoenix) with a 1:05.7. I won the 2007 AZ-region ST2 championship and won virtually every race I entered in ST2 in both Arizona and SoCal.

1984 911 Tub
1995 993 3.6L engine and 6 spd g50 trans w/Quaife diff
Trans recently refreshed
Engine has new spark plugs
Full ERP 935 front and rear suspension
Bilstein RSR coilovers
TRG adjustable sway bars
930 rear trailing arms
930 rear brakes
928 s4 front calipers on 13" floating rotors
Full tig welded cage extensively tied to front and rear suspension
2 sets of 18" Forgeline Wheels (9's and 11's)
ATL fuel cell less than 1 year old
Weight 2280 w/o driver

1:05s at PIR (well below grand am GS, a couple seconds off Rolex GT)
1:00.x at FIR East
1:31 at Willow Springs in 117 degree heat

The motor made 237 RWHP on a dyno jet a couple of years ago. Recently dynoed it at Evo Motorsports on their mustang dyno and it pulled over 260 in the cool weather. I think their dyno is a little optimistic, but the engine is healthy. Recent compression and leakdown test all normal.

Surprises A LOT of cup cars for a fraction of the cost and very low maintenance bills. Many think it's a turbo car with 400+ hp after seeing it on track!

Has new brake pads, recent oil change, ready to go!

The body has wear and tear from racing, some chips etc, but it looks good out on track!

$37,000

Probably GT4 in PCA.

HP to weight in GTS so divide the hp into the weight to figure class there. GTS Class Calculator
According to the calculator using the low hp number, it would be in GTS4

BTW 260 hp is not unrealistic for a stock engine/lightwieght flywheel and no cat.

GLWS!

Yes, I think the car sits at the short end of GTS4 - but add a little ballast and your right at the right side of GTS3 :-)

For PCA GT class, it would be in the GT3 class but ballast will put it in GT4. I run GT4 with my stock ish 3.6 that put down 265 RWHP in denver and my off track weight has to be 2677 with me in the car. My car w/o driver right now weighs in at 2349 but has to be ballasted up to make weight for GT4. Thought about GT3 but would need to loose some really expensive weight to get down to min weight.
Sounds like a fun car and would run pretty close to mine. I can tell you it would be fun.

Good to know...PCA is not very active in terms of club racing in my area so we always run with NASA. The car is VERY quick. I surprise a lot of Cup Cars and the operating expenses are very low. Only reason the car has to go is we now have 3 911 race cars and no space/money for that many!
