Anybody got an invite for me? It would be greatly appreciated, though I'm not totally sure how it works (what are the obligations as a member?)

I've got you covered. Check your PM.

Just leave Utorrent (or whatever you're using to d/l) up for a while after you d/l a torrent. They keep track of how much you "seed", and you must "seed" a certain amount to stay a member. I just leave it on over night and haven't had any issues since I joined early this year.
