Best thing I did this year was sign up for a NASA HPDE that was run amidst their October races at VIR. It demistified and really sold me on the concept of eventually racing. The NASA system is (in their words) to treat everyone at every HPDE level as if they are going to eventually race.

Coming off my most active year ever, landing sponsors, getting my family involved, and running a full series including nationals, I'm hoping to repeat next year. However, I'll be builiding a new home, living off site and getting remarried, so I'll either be spread too thin or desperate for an outlet. Somewhere in between will be just fine with me.

2010 is looking good for my program, will be up to three drivers. I am waiting for the 2010 NASA schedule in the North East and Mid Atlantic to be published but as of now I have 21 weekends plus test days as tenative, but will probably cap it at around 30 weekends.

I'll be back in 2010
After taking a year off of racing and limiting myself to less than 25 de days in 2009, I plan to return to competitive racing next year. I will likely focus on HSR/SVRA vintage events and a few PCA events in gt4 with a new-to-me car(911 ST). I will continue to use my F car as a back up or de car, unless someone makes me a purchase offer that I can't refuse.

For me, I hope to do more. Going to Sebring PCA race this year for the first time. We have been registering for that race for the last 5 years and unfortunatley cancelling everytime. This year we have 9 on board.
In the last two years we have completed in 80+ track days and so far...we are looking forward to a better 2010.

Frank, congrats again on your pending nuptials! Building a home...ugh.
For me, 2010 looks wonderfully busy from a coaching perspective. I am as always thankful for this blessing and for the opportunity to help so many folks achieve their goals. Not sure about racing plans. An opportunity presented itself the other day in a Koni GS car for 2010, but it is partially contingent on me bringing sponsor $, something I haven't even practiced doing in nearly 4 years, so we'll see....and also it is partially contingent on some other car and team issues with them.
