If you have adj. shocks taking a click of rebound out of the rear also helps keep the rear planted when braking.

My car always did that when the rear tire pressures got a bit high (low 40's).

and as almost everyone else has said, check the rear alignment...
I found that when I changed to big red front brakes at the start of this season the rear got less setteld under hard braking. I wonder if what you are explaining could be related?

yes, you shifted the bias forward (more so than it already was) making the front brakes do more work and causing more weight to be transferred towards the front under braking...

I agree with the LSD. When I had mine upgraded to 50/80 it dialed most of the squirminess out.
Also switched to the Turbo S brake bias valve for more rear bite to help offset the big blacks in front.

What about more rear wing??

Thanks to all of you for your input.

A couple of follow ups, first, if I change to Pagid Yellows up front and keep the blacks in the rear would that equalize the braking front to rear, correct?

Second, anyone have a suggestions on what toe settings would reduce the squirm vs. what seetings would caused more of the problems.

PedroNole,
We were running very little front and rear Camber due to suggestions. I think 1.5-2.0 degrees of negative.

Others have asked about tires, Hoosier R6.

Mine did that until I put in a properly functioning LSD.

Chad it will certainly help but I'd be surprised if that's your problem. I would realign the car first and set a little toe-in for the rears. That would be the easiest solution so I'd try that first. If that doesn't help, I'd pull the diff and have it checked....

^ what everybody said. Mine was a worn dif. Make a list and start with the easiest. LSD is as easy to check as tire pressures. Good luck.

I currently have been running 1.3mm of toe-in in the rear. Guards Transmission told me that normal break away numbers are between 45-60 ft lbs. Two events ago, my break away numbers were 53 ft lbs, which GT said was good and in spec. The locking diff is 80/50.
diff is less than a year old with only 6 race weekends on it.
