That's exactly what I told the owner. Pretty sure he cursed at me in Italian!

mts: your car is a beauty, thanks for the pic.

Here's mine. White stripes to come

Got some ultra cool goodies on it. Wizard trick adjustable shocks and adjustable sways, Flyin Miata chasis butterfly brace, aluminum radiator, Track Dog radiator sheild and header blanket, CAI, non-powersteering rack, etc, etc.. I'm very excited.

I feel very lucky.

Congrats Shannon. I know the car, and I think you'll be very happy with it. Hope we see you in it down here one of these days!

If they would just say that about me on the track!

In honesty, I was looking for a Miata for a couple of weeks before I put this thread up. But I was having second thoughts and considering a Boxster. My fear was I'd be in the same situation with a Boxster as with my 911 (i.e. could afford to buy it, but not to keep it on the track). And the thread responses convinced me I was right.

So... I was already searching for Miatas and got super lucky with the help of a friend and found this baby.

mglobe: It was my intent to drive in your December DE at TWS before I brought the car home. But I don't think I can get seats in it by then. And you are right, it is a fantastic car. From what the guys tell me here at Mid Ohio... I will be smiling ear-to-ear in a Miata.
