I came over from 6speed because everyone said your more of a racing place, which is what I need at the moment...

Im looking for seats for a 6'3 320LB'er and a good fire extinguisher for my 08 997. I ordered my cage and 4pt harness (which I was told isnt DE approved!)

Depends on the 4 pt system

Harness Standard Amendment:
In addition to the standard SFI and/ or FIA approved five and/or six point system, the standard
will allow a four point system that meets the following requirements:
1. Meet the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 209
2. Attaches to the factory seat belt mounting points
3. Each belt is designed to work in a specific vehicle and that vehicle tag must be
attached to the belt system
An example of a system that meets the above criteria is the Schroth Quick Fit system

I'm about 6'5" and 280# and just installed the OMP WRC XL and they are perfect. Only used them on a single DE to-date, but they fit MUCH better than the GT3 seats I use to use. Or should I say "I fit much better"? Be careful though, its a pretty big seat and you may have trouble fitting it in the car without making modifications. I'm in a 996, with the interior fully stripped out and it barely fit. In my case I had custom brackets made in order to sit lower and further back than standard brackets would allow.

Good luck.

Clearly you are a big boy.....I am about 6-1 200lbs and I run the Racetech 400WHR (wide) hans restraint seats and really like them...I can fit into a standard Racetech seat, but its really snug for my behind...

I recommend going to a shop that has several different race seats in stock you can sit in....this will give you an easy reference if your hips will fit...then measurements will tell you if your helmet wearing head will clear.....harnesses are easy after that
