Damn it - every time I see "RA" I think Road America. Since this weekend is the Ferrari Club event I was trying to figure out how he snuck this car in. :D

Probably amazing. The dyno chart I've seen of the car shows over 450 ft lbs of torque from 4250 to 7500 RPM and 480-500 ft. lbs. from 5000 to 6500 RPM. Awesome machine.

Seeing as the guy doing the tuning is the same guy who tuned our car, the drivability will likely be awesome as well.

So its Mikes 427.....VERY nice.................

That's Mike Simard's new motor?! HOLY CRAP!!! I was at his shop a year or so ago. The motor was still in pieces. The work he did to put that motor together was nothing short of art.

Yup. And as we all know, torque is what really matters, all other things being equal.....

Theres a Mike Simard in gtsu. nasa possibley him??

Bryan Watts 07-30-2009 10:01 PM

Don't know if that's him, but I hear he has a GTS5 tune for that beast as well. There goes any desire of mine to run GTS5 in the SE...looks like we'll be giving our GTS4 tune a workout a lot in the future.

The car is lightened up to around 2700lbs, has suspension work, huge rubber, massive brembo calipers among a list of other goodies. You could see for yourself at an event at Road Atlanta this week end.
