Default Michelin Slick Identification

Can you identify the compound by the serial number, how? Other than the color(which fades) of the "Porsche Cup" how can you distinguish between the blue cup and yellow cup? Any other markings, date codes on the tire? These are 27/68-18's.
Thanks in advance.

The yellow rears will be a 9 compound, sometimes marked, sometimes not. The yellow or blue marks should not fade. The non-cup tire should be an 8 compound, softer but not faster (construction seems different). I have a few sets of used blues for sale but I have not checked to see if they have a compound number on them.
