Default #45 Pennzoil S2 Firehawk pic's

Here's some pic's of the S2's new decals that are a close representation to how it raced in the Canadian Firehawk series. There are some stripes left to add at a later date.
I kept the # that it originally raced as.

There's also a couple of pic's of some of the 8 new bars added to the roll cage .
Thanks John and others for your input with the cage .

The S2 looks great Gary! I'm sure it'll be running up front soon!

Very nice looking Gary.

I would have put the Apex decal underneath the Firehawk on the windshield though. I don't like it on the roof like that . . . and someone could protest you for it lol

Wow, you sure got that together quick. Looks very nice. I guess that I didn't scare you on my 951 thread, or you don't do your own work.

July 22 -23, Watkin's Glenn with HCP and CNY regions. Apparently its not packed, and will happen no matter what, so more track time...You coming? It would be a perfect place to test that #444 record.... Plus first forty instructors are free if that applies.

I will be heading down to VIR on the 23rd. I will be at the Glen on the 27th to the 30th with Kojote and then Trackmasters.
As for instructing, I'm not ready for that yet but maybe one day when I have enough experience.

Thanks Larry, it was a little too quick though as we ran into some mechanical issues at NJMP. The air flow meter was jamming.

What's this 951 thread? Now I'm worried, does it also apply to a 944 S2?

I think he's talking about the destruction of the number 2 bearing and what it take to fix this in a 944. It is apparently a tedious job. PM me or send me an email on what you think about Kojote. I may see if I can sign up. Or I may try jump into Lime Rock on July 29th.

Great looking car Gary. I saw it up close at our favorite shop last Friday as the teething probs were being sorted out. That car was always attractive to me, particularly with the spares package, if I could only bring this old dog to learn new front engine water pumper tricks.
