Default Non airbag streering wheel install - resistor question???(cross post from 993 forum)

Anyone know how the best resistor size for a 993 (with a 4 spoke airbag steering wheel) to jump the airbag lead after removal of the the stock wheel to "fool" the airbag ECU (ie keep the light off and keep the passenger airbag working)???

OK I knew this once. It is in the 993 section as I posted it a number of times, but not for a while. Try a seach and see. It is like a .6 Ohm like 5 watt IIRC...

found it...but had ot blow the dust off of it.

Gert recommended a 2.8 ohm resistor...and after some back and forth on the wattage it appears a 1/4 watt resistor will do fine.

Will keep looking just to see, but I thought it was somewhere between 2 and 4 ohms.
