njmp hotel --$ reduction

I noticed that the Country Inn in Millville has recently reduced their online room rates for spring dates. Saved $10/night by rebooking all my reservations through the end of June. Thought I'd mention it to others so they might save, too.

How far is Country Inn from the track? Any places to eat at the Country Inn??

I usually stay at Quality Inn on 2nd Street at about $70 a night (AAA membership) and have all those stores nearby.

15 minutes to track, probably 7 minutes farther than the quality. The adjacent bar gets decent reviews, though I've never eaten there. Costs ten bucks more than the quality even with AAA, though the Quality has a little "scary" look to the outside.

And I'm told it is very popular with the "hourly trade".

Anyone here try the Days Inn in Vineland?

NJcroc 03-31-2009 10:31 AM

The holiday inn express seems to be the nicest of the hotels, but the porch at the country inn usually makes staying there a better deal. Just wander downstairs and find a drink and a cigar and always some good company

The Holiday Inn Express is EXPENSIVE.

I just signed up for the June 17 & 18 DE. See you guys there. I'll see some of you before that at Summit Point in May.

How big are the parking facilities @ the Country Inn? Can they handle trailers?
