Guys, what would you have PCA chapters do, only open registration 2 weeks before an event? As it is now, our chapter is 2 months before an event, to give everyone enough time to plan it into their schedules, arrange for a hotel, prepare a car, etc. That also give the volunteer registrars some sanity as we might have 100+ people sign up over that 2 month period (vs. if it was only open for 2 weeks, then all 100+ would bombard the poor registrar in a very short timeframe. Registration is allowed right up to the event. If a run group fills up, there's a wait list. We typically have people that are on a wait list show up the day of. What more can you ask of volunteers?

This just in, official "tentative" dates to return are August 14 and 15. Mark your calendars and once everything is finalized, I'll post (or check clubregistration from time to time).
