Two day DE at Monticello - Full Course!

CVR DE at Monticello
Thanks to CVR DE committee for all the hard work getting this event set up. For a large region that typically has significant car counts, running an event at a new venue requires a huge effort by all.
Although there were some significant first-day teething problems, many adjustments were made by the track and by CVR with resulted in a nice event IMO.

I'll second that Dick! Ted and I had a great time. The beauty of CVR is that action is taken to adjust when things happen, which are to be expected on a brand new track with 172 attendees from many chapters throughout the Northeast that may not be used to running together. I'm still in awe that the committee was able to pull this together.
Here's a link to a separate thread started by a happy attendee with some very nice compliments and reviews. Everyone is looking forward to going back in August, but unfortunately we'll be away.

I would have gone but CVR require way too much advance registration all the time... oh well. I like SCCA, just show up and register at the track and race. And get your money back if you don't turn a lap (car won't start, etc)! Or even better, Grand-Am, just show up in the morning and get your License, register, and race.

Sorry, but PCA is getting to be a pain, I am extremely busy so I can't plan that far in advance. At least the club races are not selling out so fast now, so I don't have to enter on the first day like a few years ago. I vote with my entries, if enough people do maybe we can be more flexible in this tough economy.

PDA/ NASA might be another avenue for you? CVR is the premier PCA group historically in the NE. Remember when Limerock was the place to be? Show some respect- If you can't plan ahead for important events it is not CVR's fault.

A great event. Thanks to everyone that made it possible.
They kept saying that we'd be back in Aug, but I don't see it on the CVR schedule. Anyone know who's coming back in Aug?
