Default Lime Rock Park April 15 & 16

Anybody going to Lime Rock Park for the PCA event Wednesday and Thursday? If I understand correctly this is one of the few 2 day events at LRP this year. Looking forward to see how the track has changed from last year.

Easy registration on www.motorsportreg.com

Hope the weather is as nice as last year! Not a cloud in the sky both days and t-shirt temperatures.

Anyone going to LimeRock CR that may be coming home through or anywhere near Columbus Ohio?? While i would have to get this all approved. Mid-Ohio is the next race and we want to get the Timing and scoring equipment early to do some testing and wondering if anyone would volunteer to transport. Again, I am just throwing out the question as its not may call to make as to if it happens or not. but I would like to see if I can arrange it.

I'm hopefully going to be there once I complete final setup of the winter changes... I had a blast there same time last year. I can't wait to see the new track and test out my new additions.

Tony,

If the weather holds up how bout a BBQ? I have a portable grill and can cook some Pork and Beans in the RV and whatever else. I am sure Drew and Zoltan will join us and who knows who else. I haven't looked at the drivers list recently. WE can do Burgers and Dogs (but not my dog, the Track Bitch!) Maybe grab some potatoe salad and whatever else.

I propose we do something on the Wednesday for dinner right at the track after the track is done for the day. Will they give us a problem at LRP with alcohol? We will have to make the call the day before to keep an eye on temp and sun/rain. Any thoughts?

Sounds like a great idea. I will work it out with Cindy and we can figure out a meal or 2. We always enjoy the company. Too bad Dave won't be joining us.

I believe Alcohol is OK so long as we aren't selling it or bringing a keg. I guess Arlene would know best. All we need is the weather gods to be on our side.

That doesn't give us much time figure the track goes cold by 5 is 1.5 hours enough. Maybe we should just find a local place to gather for dinner and cook lunch.

How does that impact you staying at the track?

Good old LRP; if it is fun and you want to do it, you may not!

I always enjoy the cook lunch/dinner at The Boat House approach to LRP events.
