Default Motul 300V Racing Oil

I can hear the groans now. Anyone use it? Feedback?

John, it is top quality oil. i have used it in the 964 cup and gotten very good UOA's from it. Be aware though that it is very similiar to Redline oil (ester based) and Redline will do as well in many instances. i dropped it in favor of redline 10w40 and am getting the best used oil tests from it consistently. Bottom line, 300V is an awesome oil. But Redline is an ester base also and will likely do as good with half the cost.

Thanks Brant. You really answered my question. I use Red Line but was wondering if the Motul was better. I have several cases of Red Line so I wasn't in any hurry to change anyway. Thanks!

Wow, an oil viscosity discussion that didn't end up in jihad.
Please close it before it gets ruined.
