Having seen just the title of this thread, and without even having read any of the posts, I can very confidently say "NO!"

What was his contention?

Wayne's never right... He's like Spanish media (where I'm sure this is from), they spread rumors about Alonso going to Ferrari and since it's not happening, they push it forward year after year, 2009... 2010... 2011...

Instead of thinking right or wrong, think of it like a batting average. Someone who is batting .000 will eventually manage to have the bat stuck out there in the right place and manage a hit. So in 2 more years, that just may happen here.

Perhaps, but just remember, Charlie Brown was NEVER able to kick the football while Lucy was holding it, remember?

Every forum needs its own 'Charlie Brown'

All I know is that you guys have been having this argument for as long as I've been on R-list, and I still can't figure it out. I'll bet that Vettel gets there before Alonso.

Talk , Talk and still haven't paid your debts yet ! very knowledgeable F1 clown

Tell them your wdc pick pete
Tell dem about the conspiracy
Tell dem how you reported Timo Glock to Homeland Security !
Tell dem about how Alonso would never win another race !
Tell dem pete , your friends await such astute BS ......

now pay your debt and mail me my bottle .... batty Bwoy

Ohhh Finn ;

Tell them how kimi cried like a baby for one more yr, blocking 09...
tell them how everytime KR cashed his paycheck he was committing extortion..
Tell dem FInn , tell dem how little AW knows .... Haa, Ha,, Haaaaa !

The report also suggests that there is a chance Alonso could be in place as soon as 2010 if Raikkonen has another disappointing campaign in 2008.where most in Italy thinks he is committing extortion by cashing his paycheck !

Pete :

Briatore: Alonso surpasses Schumacher

Hint : one is being fired again !

Double check your so called facts again Wayno. I didn't have a bet with you for bottles on the WDC this year or the year Kimi won it. Yet another point where your wrong.

Briatore is simply kissing Alonso's *** on those comments because he wants him to stay on with Renault, nothing more nothing less. When all is said and done with Alonso's career, he'll be a footnote where Schumacher will be remembered as the all-time race winner and 7 time WC. In the immortal words of ltc, 7-2.

Wake me up when (if) Alonso gets to 5, MAYBE I'll pay attention then.
