Default Frozen Rotors

OK so I thought I would add some longevity to my rotors by freezing them unfortunately I am unsure how long the process should take and I would appreciate anyones imput. Surprised more people have not done this seems fairly inexpesive to me.

They should be chilled next to a bottle of premium vodka for maximum benefits!

Boy are you dumb. You have to freeze all four. A week in the freezer, combined with cutting track time in half, increases rotor life by about 75%.

Christian you need to photoshop a little air under your RF tire!
No photo of 17B is truly worthy unless your up on 3!

Thanks for the chuckle! I hadn't seen any of this discussed on this forum so I was
about to do a metalurgy rant about that alchemy, but I see you are already inoculated.
Those 'frozen rotor' folks will also treat your tuba and promise it'll sound better. really.

That surprise already occured when I was rebuilding an Isetta with my FIL, we had the engine case in the oven warming it up. That raised a few eyebrows

It really sucks when they come home and find you powder coating things in the new range in the kitchen!
