I got peppered with tire marbles at Barber in June and I now have some nice cracks in the thin windshield in the RSR.

Ok, I watched the video now, was this an open passing session? If so, then the pass and debris is justified, if it wasn't an open passing session then, wow that pass should not have happened in a DE.

I sure am glad that you clarified that you were just bustin' someones ***** and were not actually asking this forum if this guy did something wrong.....

All I was going to say ..... you are on track in a short sleeve shirt, and you are worried about a few stone chips??

It was a little ballsy for a DE pass...

Both of the local German car clubs allow ss shirts at RA in the summer due to heat. What make this event fun for me with my 152.5 HP (flywheel) car is being able to give the point-by anywhere (see avatar) I want on the track. Don't feel like I am holding up the real cars like I do at the P-car event. Dave took the windshield well but I think the irritation came when he noticed the headlight took a hit, looked like someone took a 44 mag to it.

Sorry - OT -Dave, any premium in Cumming? The box is out, the 924 is dry and the BMW is empty. Been running reg in the acura since Tuesday.

Down here we run ss anytime as comfort dictates. I wear ss & 5.11 pants. Works great & keeps me cool even in very hot weather.
