So as I read it, the dip-**** stepped out into the roadway with that 10' long pipe, probably without looking, at the exact moment that Schumacher was driving by in a van. Schumacher clipped the end that was sticking out into the roadway with his mirror. Doesn't seem like it would be driver error, does it? I doubt if his skills have eroded that quickly. What I want to know is why MS was driving a van?

Are you saying you don't believe it happened?

No. I am saying that post #16 above seems a bit more credible of an explanation.

You seem a bit thin skinned. Why?

I was trying to show that there is more to the story than the way most of the news media had reported it... from the descriptions I read, it sounded as if this guy had been closing his garage door (like he was on the sidewalk) when he was hit, I was surprised to see the actual scene was so wide open.

I think you have it right, the guy with the pipe was also probably obscured by the car and just one end of the pipe was sticking out. The media made it look like he just hit some random dude walking down the road. The only worthwile part about watching that was the reporter, even though she was terrible at reporting, lol. I also want to know what the heck was Schui doing in Kent, England driving a Van??? Spying on McLaren perhaps?????

I was thinking the same thing when I saw you were online... JB couldn't get the time off from work, and we were going to do the Kojote event earlier in the week as well Instead we'll go up at the end of September with Schattenbaum for 2 days, and later in the week we'll run the 2 day Kojote event What are you doing home? They are having some great weather up there this weekend...

Default Shumie crash

These Ferrari drivers are out of control....CoryM
Didn't Berger crash an Enzo a few years ago? I tried to research it but just got pages of stuff on his San Marino crash.

Why is anyone surprised that Schumacher would, well, "Schumacher" into someone? I mean, he did this all throughout his racing career, no? (with Damon Hill in '94 and Jacques Villeneuve in '97 at Jerez).
