Trakcar, yes solo can run on Friday. I signed up solo for all 3 days. Look at the bottom on the list of packages and you will see the solo days.

I think I will keep the rear end down a bit and put in a little more understeer for the first day

As this is my first event with the PBOC group, and I am only attending the Sat/Sun Event, I see I was placed in the Advanced Group....is this still instructed!??!?? Whats the diff. between Advanced and Solo?....confused.

While we are posting videos of Daytona thought I'd post one of mine as well.

I second the idea to copy the Audi Club and use the turn signals for passing on the banking. It worked perfectly.

You're kidding, right?!

Of course you should come! BTW, I'm pretty sure MJ will come there too.

I'm gonna look at my schedule of CA track days (was going to take the RS back to CA) and see how logistically I can work it out...I'd really like to do it but will have to ship the car and fly...like a damn race team or something

mdrums,
i am wondering if never on the track at daytona, would it be helpful to get instruction first day for the proper lines rather than trial and error at 160plus mph?
maybe advanced first day and solo next...i am thinking of going..your thought?

If you're there on Friday, perhaps you could get a ride with an instructor to show you the line.

I've never been there either in my car but have had laps in the passenger seat with Tom Kerr. I will grad one of my friends to ride with me for some laps to make sure I am driving the line and hitting the proper brake points. I plan on taking it easy, low and slow and build up from there. I am there for 3 days so I will get the track time.
