+1 to vinyl over magnetic. Most of the numbers I've seen on track, lying still or blowing across, have been magnetic. I get about 1 season of DEs out of my vinyl #s - soloperformance.com. Clean the area before application and at the end of the weekend, return them to their backing paper to wait the next event.

Definitely vinyl for me. I lost a magnetic number even though it was taped down with duct tape. I never found it, and hope noone else on track did either!

I do Vinyl. Discovery Parts does it for $9.95 Numbers on both sides, rear, & your name. The vinyl he uses is not real tacky so it comes off easy. No chance of it coming off on the track, yet not permanent by any means.

It seems every DE I have a new number.

I'd vote for Charlie first but you could also do edecals.com

Hey guys, thanks for the kind words. Kudos also go to my "offshore" development support, otherwise known here as 38D. He's drawn a good portion of the graphics for some of the folks who have taken advantage of our hobby interest...

Anyway, was at Lime Rock the past few days and saw some PMs. Happy to help anyone who needs some vinyl for their car(s)...
