I'm gonna take Kimi on this one and predict a very good showing for the BMW team.
Expect the restraints to be clearly placed and obvious on Heikki Kovalainen.

Kimi looks to be the favored pick. He's my choice as well. But maybe Hamilton will come out kicking? I don't think Alonso will get into q3 so I don't think any restraints on teammates are required!

BMW should be good and I think (& hope) Williams will do pretty well also.
Hey! Wayne finally voted too (Alonso now has a vote).

Okay, I've been waiting for all the testing to end to post my predictions.
Constructors:
1. Ferrari
2. McLaren
3-4: Battle for 3rd with BMW, Williams. Williams has improve greatly and the 2008 BMW Chassis is hard on rear tires. With no traction control for this year, it could be a problem on certain tracks.
5: Renault. Alonso will help Renault from their disappointing 2007 year, and will be on the heels of BMW Williams.
Mid pack: Toyota, Red Bull
Back of the pack: Honda, Force India F1, Super Aguri (or whatever they're going to be called after being recently purchased)
Kimi is the easy and obvious choice, but I don't think he is going to run away with it as I thought would be the case after last season. I have Kimi repeating as WC, but Hamilton 2nd in points, mathmatically still in it until the last race, but Kimi comfortably ahead by 7-9 points, similar to what Hamilton had in 2007 going into the last race where all he had to do was come in 5th or better. I have Massa 3rd in points 11-14 points adrift of Kimi.
I see the 2nd tier of drivers such as Heikki, Heidfeld, Kubica, Rosberg, Alonso, Webber fighting with each other, possibly Vettel.
I don't see Button or Rubens doing much of anything. Coulthard should have retired long ago. Vettel will outclass Seabass by a large margin. Trulli will qualify well and tank in the races (nothing new). Much to the dismay of my fellow amigo ltc, Sato will not have a competitive car to do much.

Kimi has to be regarded as the front-runner. Ferrari has supposedly addressed the lack of low speed grip that made them slower on the tight circuits, and with Kimi now conpletely used to the Bridgestone tires, it should really only come down to his abilty to drive clean races and the mechanical reliability of the car. If he has both, he will repeat.

McLaren not relegated to end of pitlane
The manipulation continues . AW
By Jonathan Noble Sunday, March 9th 2008, 04:51 GMT
McLaren have not been relegated to the bottom of the pitlane, despite being thrown out of the constructors' championship last year over the spying scandal.
The Woking-based team lost all of their constructors' championship points and, with pitlane order being decided on the basis of a team's finishing position, it had been expected that McLaren would be moved to the bottom end.
However, after discussions between F1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone and the teams, McLaren have been given the fifth garage slot for the season.
As the first cars arrived in Melbourne on Sunday for the opening round of the championship in Australia next weekend, McLaren's garage was duly being set up between Williams and Red Bull Racing.
It is believed that the practical issue of where to place McLaren's large motorhome in paddocks was one of the reasons for keeping the team away from the bottom end of the pitlane.

Kimi is the safe pick, but my vote goes to LH given the longer odds and some general hope that 2008 will see the same close racing and close points table we saw in 2007. Constructors is a harder call, but my money would be on the Scuderia this time.
Added for clarity [ and for quick payouts after the race on Sunday]:
AUGP: P1 - Hamilton
WDC: Hamilton
Constructors: Ferrari

Sorry. I gave an entire break down by team, constructors, drivers, but did not click the vote.... Mine goes to Alonso... Not. The Iceman Cometh Again.
Once your prediction is in, it's in. If there is an edit at the bottom of your post because you came back after 3/13/08 (practice day) your prediction gets thrown out.
Where the hell is Ray S. and ltc with their predictions?
